Beneficial Beers Fundraiser for Girls Inc. DC
Thank you Andy’s Pizza NoMa and Craft Beer Cellar for the Beneficial Beers fundraiser on March 10th in support of Women’s History Month and Girls Inc. DC! We had a great time and were so heartened by the turnout in support of women and girls in our community including woman-owned Craft Beer Cellar. Let’s do it again next year!

Giving Tuesday 2021: Thank You!
Thanks to our generous donors, we raised $13,465 for #GivingTuesday, reaching 90% of our goal! With these funds, we'll be able to continue our signature programming and create pro-girl environments that confirm girls can succeed and deserve to be taken seriously, programs like our Winter Break virtual camp for middle school girls in the DC area.
Executive Director and Program Director Hired!
Executive Director and Program Director Hired! After a 3-month long national executive search, we have a new Executive Director, Dr. Heather Hairston, who joined us in October 2021. We are also pleased to welcome Sydney Wilson back to Girls Inc. DC, who joined as Programming Director in September 2021.
