Toy Drive with National Association of University Women

Girls Inc. DC partnered with the National Association of University Women - College Alumnae Club for a toy drive to benefit students at C. W. Harris Elementary School in Ward 7. Thanks to many generous donations of toys, we collected over 50 toys and held a service event to wrap those gifts on December 14th. Our GIDC girls who attended the service event received 2 volunteer hours towards their graduation requirements and they had a lot of fun wrapping gifts, making holiday cards and being able to help give over 50 children a brighter holiday!
