Girls Inc. DC participant, Joy Parker, has been selected to join the prestigious Girls Inc. National Teen Advocacy Council (TAC). Joy is a junior at KIPP College Prep Academy and a member of our Bold Girls Society.

October 26th is Girls’ Justice Day – a day to raise awareness about girls’ unique experiences with the juvenile and criminal legal systems. On October 11th, we celebrated International Day of the Girl by hosting our Inaugural “Champion for Girls” Luncheon. Nearly 200 people joined us at the sold-out event to recognize leaders who are paving the way for the next generation of strong, smart and bold women.
