We are searching for a small group of career women committed to helping girls in under-invested communities in the DC area realize their full potential.
As a Woman of Impact, you will be an ambassador for Girls Inc. DC and our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Through interactive volunteer activities that support local Girls Inc. programs and an annual donation of $1,000, you are helping Girls Inc. DC redefine the possibilities for girls in the Washington, DC region.
Women of Impact Are:
A critical part of a network of supportive adults who are connected to girls’ lives.
A group of women committed to growing opportunities for our girls through an annual financial investment of $1,000 or more and active volunteering.
Participants in Girls Inc. DC programs as volunteers, tutors, mock interviewers, internship hosts, or more.
Membership Requirements:
$1,000 annual donation which can be made upfront, quarterly ($250/quarter) or monthly ($84/month)
Active participation with fundraising and marketing efforts including but not limited to:
Giving Tuesday
Participate in company matching, where available
Host an online fundraising drive (for your birthday, Giving Tuesday, Women’s History Month, etc.)
Promote Girls Inc. DC events and activities to your network including assistance with selling tickets to our signature events
Amplify Girls Inc. DC communications to your network (e.g. share and re-post content on social media)
Volunteer with Girls Inc. DC at least 2x a year
Be a Positive Ambassador: The Girls Inc. DC environment fosters a sisterhood of support, high expectations, and mutual respect. Women of Impact will represent Girls Inc. DC values in all ways.
