Girls Inc. DC attends White House turkey pardon

Girls Inc. DC girls participated in an annual Washington pre-Thanksgiving tradition, attending the 76th annual White House turkey pardon. They watched on as President Biden pardoned two turkeys, Liberty and Bell, who each traveled more than 1,000 miles to make it to the White House. Post-pardon, Liberty and Bell will return to their home state of Minnesota where they will be housed at the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.
