Attending Girls Inc. national’s annual Champion for Girls Luncheon

Several girls from Girls Inc. DC had the opportunity to travel to NYC with our Executive Director, Dr. Heather Hairston and board member, Joi Chaney, to attend Girls Inc. national’s annual Champion for Girls luncheon on March 7th at the Plaza Hotel. Hosted by Hoda Kotb of the Today Show and honoring Patricia Field, costume designer, entrepreneur and stylist as well as musician H.E.R., it was an inspiring day for the Girls Inc. DC girls.
