What: Claiming Our Space was a virtual event featuring women — rising leaders — known and respected in the DC region who are claiming their spaces in the areas of arts and culture, food, sports, and politics.

When: January 27, 2021 at 6:00pm.

Why: When girls have access to tools and opportunities to succeed, they change their circumstances and the circumstances of those around them.

Who: Stephanie Ramirez, Fox5 DC Reporter (moderator); Janeese Lewis George, Council member for Ward 4; Marjorie Meek-Bradley, Executive Chef at St. Anselm and Pastis; Robin McClain, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Destination DC; and Alison Lee, LGPA Professional Golfer talked about their professional journeys, shared experiences as women, and personal triumphs as they continue to soar in their respective careers.
